Following its global debut nearly a year ago in Geneva, new international car brand - Qoros, has full revealed its second production model, the new Qoros 3 hatchback. This new model is all set to make its world debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
Destined for launch in the Chinese market in the middle of 2014, the Qoros 3 hatchback, as the brand says, will appeal to ‘trendy, active and independent individuals’.
When launched, the Qoros 3 will be offered in four trim levels – Essence, Experience, Experience Plus and Elegance. The car promises generous equipment levels and features across the range that is not normally available on small cars. For instance, the brand is offering its innovative eight-inch touch screen infotainment system with media connectivity as standard on all variants.
Based on the same modular platform as the Qoros 3 Sedan, the new hatchback will be available with two petrol engine options. The naturally-aspirated unit produces 126bhp and 155Nm of torque while the more powerful 1.6-litre turbo unit makes 156bhp and 210Nm of torque.
The new Qoros 3 hatchback will be manufactured in the brand’s new, highly-efficient production facility in Changshu, near Shanghai where the Qoros 3 sedan is also rolled out.
