Jaguar claims that the all new XE is the most advanced, efficient and refined sports saloon that Jaguar has ever produced. It is the first of a new generation of cars to be launched on Jaguar’s state-of-the-art, all new advanced aluminium architecture. This lightweight construction creates an incredibly strong body that helps deliver power with responsive handling.
Unmistakably a Jaguar and instantly recognisable, the XE shows elegant but athletic design lines. Its sculpted bonnet leaning over to the intense headlights, outlined with the J-blade LED lights, gives it an aggressive stance.
Like all contemporary Jaguar cars, this XE has a rising waistline to add to the visual posture even when stationary. This is continued by the sharp design feature that begins from the front bumper all the way to the tail.
A short glance at the tail of the XE is all it takes to know that it could only be a Jaguar. The sharp creases along the body side of the XE is aerodynamically honed to sweep air seamlessly rearwards to the tail section.
You sit low in the XE and are directly ahead of two large sports car inspired dials and message centre that’s inspired by the F-Type. The chunky sports steering wheel is also from the F-Type.
The new XE’s command centre is a touch-screen interface, and it is the hub which gives control over the car’s functions like audio, climate control and navigation. It also enables telephone connectivity to keep you in touch.
