Mahindra has re-entered the UK market with the latest iteration of the e2o electric car. Its plan now is to take forward its Anglo charge with an all-electric range and is expected to launch another car and two-wheeler as a part of its future lineup.
This is an important development for the company as it will assemble vehicles at its facility outside Bengaluru. The plant, which produces the e2o, currently does not work to full capacity due to low demand.
However, this is expected to change now. Further demand is expected to come from creation of spares and replacement body parts.
