The Hyundai Kona, as we know, is a lifestyle crossover targeted mainly at young buyers. It is currently available with petrol and diesel motors. However, our spies recently managed to capture the all-electric variant.
This all-electric variant of the Kona is easily recognisable due to the lack of a front grille and exhaust system. Both these features were visible on the camouflaged prototypes of the Kona photographed last year but are missing on this test car that got unloaded from a truck.
It’s too early as of now to speculate about the power and price of the electric version, but one thing is for clear - unlike the German car industry which won’t be able to offer affordable all-electric cars before 2020, the Kona could become a great hit among the young dwellers from 2018 onwards.
