The vehicle you see in the pictures is a Honda sports car that could very well turn out to be a concept for the ZSX model or the S2000.
It goes without saying that the low front end coupled with the windshield and the absence of head lamps makes it likely that the car may not be intended for a production model. We also noticed air intakes on the rear fender for feeding cold air into the engine, a purposeful wing, and twin exhaust tips. As the exhausts are positioned higher up, Honda was able to incorporate a more effective diffuser, as can be seen.
With ‘Sport’ etched between the pipes, it seems probable that this sports car may be on the lines of the Honda S660 (Japan) and the now defunct S2000. This fact is even more pronounced as reports suggest that Honda does not have rights to the ZSX name in the United States, but is believed to have trademarked the ZSX name in Europe last year.
At this point, there’s no way of telling if this sports car may eventually be displayed at an upcoming motor show. However, stay tuned for more information in the days to come.
