BMW claims the new M5 does a 0–100 kmph in 4.4 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via the seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission; traction-optimised automatic gear selection; Launch Control; Low Speed Assistance; automatically activated parking mode; M-specific gear selector; M leather steering wheel with shift paddles.
