The Tata Buzzard was spotted during a public road test once again. New spy images reveal a few details regarding the interior of the model that could be showcased in production ready form at the 2020 Auto Expo.
As seen in the spy images, the exterior of the Tata Buzzard reveals an uncamouflaged roof mounted spoiler. Dimension wise, the Buzzard will be 63mm longer and 80mm taller when compared to the Harrier.
Another significant feature seen in the spy image of the Tata Buzzard is the automatic transmission. The gear lever reveals the modes including Park, Reverse, Neutral, Drive and manual mode. Also seen is the Terrain Response Mode knob. All other features such as the free-standing infotainment system, dashboard and steering wheel have been carried over from the Harrier.
Powering the upcoming Tata Buzzard is expected to be a BS-VI compliant 2.0-litre turbocharged Kryotec diesel engine that could reportedly produce 170bhp and 350Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a six-speed manual unit and a Hyundai sourced six-speed automatic unit. Rivals to the Buzzard would include the likes of the Mahindra XUV500 and the MG Hector.
