- Next-gen Elite i20 test-mule features new diamond-cut alloy wheels
- The model could be launched at the 2020 Auto Expo
The 2020 Hyundai Elite i20 has been spied during a public road-test once again. New spy images shared on the web reveal a partially camouflaged unit of the new Elite i20 that could be launched in India at the 2020 Auto Expo.
As seen in the spy image, the third-generation Elite i20 test-mule features a new set of diamond-cut alloy wheels. The basic silhouette of the vehicle remains the same while updates are expected to arrive in the form of refreshed front and rear bumpers, the signature cascade design grille and disc brakes on the rear axle.
Details regarding the interiors of the new-gen Hyundai Elite i20 remain scarce at the moment although we do know whether the model will come equipped with a segment-first fully digital instrument cluster and BlueLink connectivity. Also on offer could be automatic climate control and a sunroof.
Engine options for the 2020 Hyundai Elite i20 could include a BS-VI compliant 1.2-litre petrol motor and a detuned version of Kia’s 1.5-litre diesel mill. Hyundai may also offer the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit with a DCT gearbox.
