Chevrolet is revamping its entire range in India. Earlier this year, the Tavera, the Captiva and the Cruze were upgraded and now the company will launch all-new models like the Enjoy MPV, Sail sedan and U-VA hatchback. First among the new models will be the Chevy Sail hatchback, which we have caught testing once again.
The Chevrolet Sail U-VA hatchback is expected to be launched in mid-October, coinciding with the festive season. The car has been jointly developed by GM with their Chinese partner SAIC and was unveiled at the 2012 Auto Expo. The car has been caught testing several times ever since, as it is being fine-tuned for India. These pictures of the Sail U-VA were taken on the outskirts of Mumbai.
The Sail twins will replace the Aveo sedan and hatchback and more importantly will get diesel mills to compete with b-segment hatchbacks and entry-level sedans. The black hatchback spied is a mid-variant with black rims and beige interiors. The final product for India will be unveiled in next few days, so stay tuned for more images and our first drive review.
