Italian supercar house Lamborghini will turn 50 next year and boy does it have grand plans to celebrate the milestone. Speaking at the Quail car show in Monterey California, president and CEO Stephen Winklemann unveiled the special anniversary logo and announced the itinerary for the celebrations. He also showcased the Urus SUV and Sesto Elemento hypercar.
To mark the occasion, Lamborghini will hold a grand tour which will see Lamborghini owners and dealers from across the world drive across Italy. The tour will end at their factory in Sant'Agata Bolognese where the participants will get a chance to visit the automakers museum, production facility and participate in the Lamborghini experience.
The company has also planned a number of events word wide. 10 per cent of the proceeds and sponsorships from these will go to rebuilding the Emila Romagna region which was hit by a devastating quake in May this year.
