Jaguar has confirmed to unveil the production ready version of the new F-Type sports car at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, in September. Earlier this year, the Tata owned luxury brand confirmed development of an all-new sports car christen F-Type; successor to the legendary Jaguar E-Type. The pre-production version of the two-seater convertible, made its public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed – unfortunately in full camouflage. The wait is now over with announcement from JLR that the final product will break-cover in Paris, on 27 September.
The Jaguar F-Type is a two seat, soft-top convertible sports car with engine feeding power to the rear wheels. The car will be launched with a choice of three engines: 340PS and 380PS versions of Jaguar’s all-new 3.0-litre supercharged V6, and a new derivative of its existing supercharged 5.0-litre V8. The power will be transferred through an eight-speed transmission and will be equipped with Stop/Start technology.
