Nissan Motors India has opened a new showroom in Mumbai on August 9. The Torrent Nissan showroom, which is being run in exclusive partnership with Hover Automotive India, is spread across 480 square meters at Andheri West.
Speaking at the opening, Takayuki Ishida, MD and CEO, Nissan Motor India, said that Mumbai was an ever-expanding market for cars in terms of size, users and added that it was the right place for Nissan to expand its presence.
Speaking on the potential car sales for the rest of the year, GM Singh, MD of Hover Automotive said that with Nissan slated to launch some more models this year, the company was ready for wider sales and providing aftersales support to all its customers. To increase its dealership network, Nissan has also signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Hover Automotive.
