Mercedes Benz India has expanded the portfolio of their premium MPV, the R-Class, by introducing a new diesel variant, R350 CDI 4MATIC. The new diesel version is priced at Rs 58.9 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The new R-Class variant is powered by 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine that powers all four wheels through 7G-TRONIC gearbox, and returns 11.25kpl. The vehicle can accommodate seven adults with luggage compartment capable of carrying between 633 and 2385 litres. There is also new sporty aluminum trim that offers electric sunroof, 18-inch alloy-wheels, bit of chrome, LED running lights and few additional features.
Commenting on the introduction of the vehicle, Mercedes- Benz India Director-Sales & Marketing Debashis Mitra, said: "We are sure that the diesel variant of this crossover model will be an attractive proposition for our valuable customers".
