April marks the beginning of the new financial year, with new budgets coming in for that year. While some manufacturers have just begun planning their launches, a few others are in launch mode already. So, if you are planning to buy a car this month, here is a list of new cars to choose from.
Audi will update their entry-level sedan, the Audi A3, and will launch the new car on April 6. The update is largely cosmetic, since it is a mid-life facelift along with a few changes inside. The biggest change though, is the replacement of the old 1.8-litre mill with a modern 1.4-litre petrol engine.
Lamborghini Performante
The Performante has been Lamborghini’s showstopper at the Geneva Auto Show and why not! It has earned its position at the top of the table as one of the fastest Lamborghinis around the Nurburgring. It is also the first ever Lamborghini to deploy active aerodynamics to help it go faster than ever.
Volvo S60 Polestar
This was a sweet surprise for us and we do not blame Volvo for delaying the XC90 R-Design forever, if we are going to get more of these Polestars. The S60 Polestar is powered by a 2.0-litre 351bhp supercharged and turbocharged petrol engine with all-wheel drive, this car will certainly set your pulse racing.
Datsun GO and GO+ Anniversary edition
Datsun India will launch special editions of their GO hatchback and GO+ to celebrate four years of the brand’s presence in India. The limited edition cars might get a dual-tone paint scheme like the Datsun Redigo with stripes for added sportiness and some equipment to drive the sales.
Toyota Innova Crysta Touring Sport
The Toyota Innova Crysta replaced the long running Toyota Innova almost an year ago and it seems like Toyota is ready to celebrate its success with the Touring Sport. The Touring Sport is an Innova Crysta with black alloys, peripheral cladding and a few butch touches to the exterior.
Jeep Compass
Jeep India has been going gung-ho over the Jeep Compass and the smallest SUV from this American carmaker is all set for its first India unveil. Now, we have already dug out a lot of information about the baby Jeep already and all we want to know is what price tag it would carry.
Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire
Maruti Suzuki is all set to bring in the all-new version of their highest selling sedan, the Dzire, this year. It seems that the new car has already reached some dealers and the word is that the launch is near. We expect it to be launched within a month or two and if not April, it will certainly come in May 2017.
