The Renault Triber was recently unveiled in India for the global market. It incorporates the French carmaker's family design language and comes with several aesthetic and functional features. Here are six things that make the MPV outright smart.
1. Raised roof line
Unlike many cars' whose roofline tapers towards the back, the Triber's roofline is raised. This has not only made the insides of the car pretty spacious and roomy, but have helped liberate more headroom in third row as well.
2. Removable third row
The arrangement of the third row of seats can be smartly changed to suit one's need. In fact, this last row of seats can be completely removed as well to make space for more luggage.
3. Shiny wheels
It might take more than one look to actually know how smartly Renault has designed the car's wheels. These are steel wheels that look like alloy wheels to save cost without losing visual appeal.
4. Detailed driver information system plus a touchscreen multimedia system
The Triber boasts of an 8.0-inch touchscreen system and a completely digital instrument cluster which help in providing a lot of information. It has a dial on the left for the tachometer, while the instrumentation's right side has the temperature gauge, fuel gauge and the tell-tale indications. It also features a 3.5-inch MID that displays the speed and other important information.
5. Twin glove-boxes
The carmaker has made good use of the space inside by intelligently designing the dashboard. There are two glove-boxes, out of which, one gets a cooling function as well.
6. Individuals AC vents for all three rows
Occupants in the Triber's third row get a dedicated AC vent. This makes it a premium feature for the price it will be sold at.
