Just yesterday we wrote about BMW recalling 1.3 million cars worldwide to fix a faulty battery cable cover. The recall is limited to the 5-series sedan and 6-series coupe/convertible.
BMW India has now extended that recall to 3422 examples of the two models that are currently running on Indian roads. The manufacturer says that it hasn't had any complaints so far, but will replace all of the parts within the next month, which is the time by which the replacement parts are expected to arrive.
The recall has extended to 368,000 examples in the USA, 293,000 in Germany, 109,000 in the UK and 102,000 cars in China as well.
