As seen in the leaked e-brochure, the upcoming Toyota Innova Crysta will be launched in India in three variants - GX, VX and ZX. The brochure further goes on to state that the new vehicle will be offered in two engine options - 2.4-litre and 2.8-litre.
The Innova Crysta is due for launch in the first week of May this year. The MPV will get a 2.8-litre diesel engine that puts out 172bhp of power and 360Nm of torque, while the 2.4-litre diesel generates 147bhp of power and 343Nm of torque. Both the engines will comply with the Euro V norms. A six-speed automatic gearbox is offered as standard in the top-end ZX variant and is optional in the base GX variant, while an five speed manual transmission is available in the GX and VX variants.
Speaking of features, the Innova Crysta will get variant specific features like powered driver’s seat, one touch tumble for second and third row seats, auto-closing tailgate, automatic climate control, front seat with easy rear slide, seven-inch audio system with navigation, ABS with EBD, BA, airbags, start/stop button and a smart entry system. As for the pricing, we expect that the vehicle will be priced higher than the regular Innova model. Details on variant specific features will be known post its official launch.
