The Tata Tiago range has been updated for 2025 and sees it get a new feature list and new colour schemes but no mechanical changes and continues to be offered with petrol, CNG and EV powertrain options.
2025 Tata Tiago updates
The exterior design remains unchanged, but Tata has added some new colour schemes that had not been revealed at the time of writing this story. It has also added dual-tone alloy wheels, LED DRLs, front fog lamps, LED headlamps, and a rear wiper as part of the deal.
The bigger changes have been initiated inside with the top-spec variants across all three powertrain options getting the following.
- 10-inch floating display for touchscreen infotainment system
- Wireless phone mirroring
- New digital cluster
- Cruise control
- TPMS
- USB-C charging ports
- Climate control
- Seat back pocket
- Power mirrors (NRG)
- Remote opening tailgate (EV)
Powertrain options
The standard petrol engine is Tata’s 1.2-litre unit, which produces 84bhp/113Nm and can be had with either a five-speed MT or a five-speed AMT. The CNG version uses the same engine but with an output of 72bhp and 95Nm. This engine, too, can be had with a five-speed MT or a five-speed AMT.
The Tiago EV has two range options. The medium-range version has a claimed range of 250km and a motor producing 60bhp and 110Nm. The more powerful long range version has a range of 315 km 74bhp and 114Nm.
Prices for the standard petrol range start at Rs. 5 lakh and top out at Rs. 7.29 lakh. The CNG range starts at Rs. 6 lakh and tops out at Rs. 8.74 lakh. Finally, the EV range starts at Rs. 7.99 lakh and tops out at Rs. 11.14 lakh.
The updates were long overdue for Tata’s little hatchback and they now give the Tiago range a significant punch over all its segment rivals and now makes it the most feature-loaded car in the segment.
