- Gets redesigned front and rear profile
- Globally available with hybrid powertrain
MG Motor has officially revealed the all-new ZS in the international market. The 2025 update brings many changes to the exterior and the interior of the ZS. Globally, the ZS is being offered as the Hybrid+. However, in India, the model gets two iterations, an all-electric version called the ZS EV and the Astor as the ICE model.
Starting with the exterior, the new ZS gets a more aggressive fascia with a redesigned large grille, wider and vertically designed air damps, full-width light bar connecting the headlamps cluster that also houses sleek LED DRLs, and a repositioned MG logo, which now sits above the grille.
The side profile is more or less identical to that of the previous iteration with a slightly tweaked alloy wheel pattern. At the rear, the all-new ZS, or the Astor so to speak, gets a reworked bumper with a split design and redesigned taillamps. Other design highlights include a repositioned brand logo on the tailgate, extended rear spoiler with an integrated stop lamp, rear wiper, and a silver faux pattern that resembles dual exhaust outlets.
On the inside, the changes are more noticeable with a new dashboard layout having a bigger 12.3-inch infotainment screen, reshaped AC vents, new steering wheel, seven-inch digital instrument panel, and a redesigned centre console with a new gear lever. As for the features, the new ZS Hybrid+ comes loaded with wireless smartphone connectivity, ADAS suite, Type-C charging port, electronic parking brake with auto hold, automatic climate control, 360-degree camera, and a wireless charger.
Mechanically, the MG ZS Hybrid+ makes use of a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine assisted by an electric motor. The combined power output stands at 192bhp with a zero to 100kmph sprint time of 8.7 seconds.
