- 4x4 AT variant reintroduced due to good demand
- SUV gets new accessories too
Jeep India has recently re-launched the Limited (O) 4x4 AT variant of the Meridian. This variant has been reintroduced due to popular demand, while the facelifted SUV gets new accessories as well.
Jeep had launched the Meridian facelift in October last year. Customers could opt for the top-spec Overland trim offered with a nine-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system. However, there was no Limited (O) variant offered, until recently. The 4x4 AT option is now available at a lower price point, thanks to the Limited variant. Besides, the 2025 model-year update also brings in a pack of new accessories for the car including a hood decal, side body stickers, programmable ambient lighting, and an eyeliner under the headlamps.
Powertrain
All variants of the Meridian SUV are powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 167bhp and 350Nm of torque. This mill comes paired to either a six-speed manual or a nine-speed automatic unit with optional four-wheel drive.
