The fourth generation BMW X3 made its global debut in June this year. Now with its launch in India, the SUV will be offered in two variants: petrol-powered X3 20 and X3 20d diesel. The new-gen X3 boasts a completely new design, with a new-format kidney grille and a new-look front bumper. It features sleek LED headlights with integrated dual L-shaped DRLs, while the rear section features new Y-shaped LED taillamps.
On the inside, the new X3 has a curved display, featuring BMW’s latest iDrive9 infotainment system. The SUV also comes with flat-bottom steering, heated sports seats, and connected tech.
Powertrain
The X3 20 uses a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine that produces 206bhp and 310Nm of torque, while the X3 20d is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that provides 197bhp and 400Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
