Toyota has introduced the new-generation Camry in India, with prices starting at Rs. 48 lakh (ex-showroom). This marks the debut of the ninth-gen model in the country, which was unveiled in November last year. it is offered in six colours, namely Cement Gray, Attitude Black, Dark Blue, Emotional Red, Platinum White Pearl, and Precious Metal.
Under the hood, the new Camry sources power from a 2.5-litre petrol engine paired with a hybrid motor. The combined output of 230bhp is sent to the wheels via an e-CVT gearbox. Further, there are three drive modes - Sport, Eco, and Normal.
In terms of design, the 2024 Toyota Camry gets a new face with C-shaped LED DRLs, sleek grille, wide air dam, and air vents on either side of the front bumper. Elsewhere, it boasts fresh 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, contrast-coloured ORVMs, wraparound taillights, and a panoramic sunroof.
Inside, the next-gen Camry receives a 360-degree camera, new fully digital instrument console, large touchscreen infotainment system, three-zone climate control, ADAS suite, and a new steering wheel. It also comes equipped with EPB, wireless mobile projection, HUD, wireless charger, 10-way powered front seats, nine airbags, and rear seats with recline function. The premium sedan is available in a single, fully loaded variant.
