- Ninth-generation Camry launched
- One variant but two editions offered
Toyota brought in the latest iteration of the Camry replacing the existing model. The new one is in its ninth generation and offered in a single variant priced at Rs. 48 lakh (ex-showroom). However, there are two editions with the standard being the Elegance edition and a sportier one named the Sprint edition. Here are the differences.
As the name suggests, the 'Sprint' edition looks like the go-faster version of the standard car but essentially just gets cosmetic changes. This is all thanks to a body kit including front and rear bumper extensions, black roof, and a black spoiler. Inside, the interior is more or less the same except for some additions like ambient lighting and door-ajar lights.
All of the aforementioned equipment is part of an accessory package that can be opted for from an authorised Toyota dealer. The pricing for the same is not out yet but will command a premium over the standard variant. Also, a customer can choose to opt for the equipment according to the car's exterior body colour options.
