Like other special editions, the Astor Blackstorm gets subtle tweaks. This includes the all-black honeycomb grille, headlamps, and bumpers.
Even the door cladding, roof rails, and door garnishes sport a black finish. The SUV rides on the same pattern of alloy wheels as the standard variants, but with a black finish and red front brake calipers.
Inside, the Astor Blackstorm features Tuxedo Black upholstery. This along with the steering wheel and door trims gets red stitching.
Moreover, there are Sangria Red-themed AC vents and 'Black Storm' red embroidery on the front seat headrests. The SUV has JBL speakers, Level 2 ADAS, and a digital car key.
Powertrain
There are no changes to the powertrain of the Astor Blackstorm Edition. Powering the MG Astor is either a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine or a 1.3-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. The former is tuned to produce 108bhp and 144Nm of torque and is offered with a six-speed manual or a CVT unit. The turbocharged petrol mill produces 138bhp and 220Nm of torque and is offered only with a six-speed torque converter automatic unit.
