Up front is a large front grille with horizontal slats, sleek LED headlamps with LED DRLs, and a revised bumper with integrated fog lamps.
The car rides on new 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and sports new LED tail lamps in a Y-shaped pattern. A chrome strip connects the latter.
Dimension-wise, the new Dzire is 3,995mm long, 1,735mm wide, and 1,525mm tall with a 2,450mm long wheelbase. It has a ground clearance of 163mm.
Its interior with a light beige and black coloured cabin now has a more premium stance with wooden trims on its dashboard along with silver accents.
A large floating touchscreen infotainment system measuring nine inches offers both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a 360-degree camera.
Moreover, the sedan sports a factory-fitted single-pane sunroof, a segment-first feature offered in the sub-four-metre compact sedan segment.
Onboard safety equipment includes six airbags, electronic stability control, reverse parking camera, ABS, EBD, cruise control, and a push button start/stop.
The fourth-gen Maruti Dzire is the first ever Maruti car to score a five-star GNCAP rating with five stars in adult occupancy protection and four stars in child protection.
Now, its colour palette has been increased to seven colours such as Gallant Red, Bluish Black, Alluring Blue, Nutmeg Brown, Magma Grey, Splendid Silver, and Arctic White.
Powertrain
The 2024 Maruti Dzire also sees changes to its engine line-up. It is powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder Z-Series petrol engine replacing the earlier 1.2-litre four-cylinder K-Series unit. The new mill produces 81bhp and 112Nm of torque and comes mated to a five-speed manual and AMT. The claimed fuel efficiency is 24.79kmpl for the manual, 25.71kmpl for the automatic variants, and 33.73km/kg for the CNG.
