Kia Motors has refreshed the Sonet line-up with a new GTX variant. Here are the top five features of this variant slotted between the HTX+ and the GTX+ trims.
New paint shade
A new Aurora Black Pearl shade has been added taking the colour options for the Sonet GTX to seven. These paint schemes include the signature Pewter Olive, Sparkling Silver, Glacier White Pearl, Gravity Grey, Imperial Blue, and Intense Red.
360 camera
The GTX variant gets a 360-degree camera with a blind-view monitor in the instrument cluster.
Powered driver seat
The driver's seat in this GTX trim is four-way electrically powered adding to the convenience.
Ventilation option
The black and brown leatherette seats get a ventilation option that will be a boon for users. This is, however, offered only for the front seats.
Air purifier
This particular variant is also equipped with a Smart Pure air purifier with virus and bacteria protection.
Engine options for the Sonet GTX
The Sonet GTX is offered with two powertrain options, including a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel mill. However, these are only available with automatic gearboxes. The turbo-petrol comes mated to a seven-speed DCT gearbox and the diesel motor to a six-speed automatic torque converter unit.
