Kia recently commenced the official bookings for the new Carnival in India. Prospective buyers can place an order by paying a token amount of Rs. 2 lakh. It will be launched on 3 October when the variant-wise prices will be announced. Till then, here's a picture gallery detailing all the specifications of the upcoming luxury MPV.
New Kia Carnival picture gallery
The India-spec Kia Carnival is the same as the international-spec and will be imported as a CBU. It will be offered in two variants — Limousine and Limousine Plus.
This is the latest iteration and the fourth-generation Kia Carnival that will be launched in the Indian market. It was exhibited at the 2023 Auto Expo as the Kia KA4.
Design-wise, it gets a wide grille with vertically stacked LED headlamps and L-shaped LED DRLs. Meanwhile, the rear features L-shaped LED taillamps connected by an LED light bar.
Inside, the new Carnival is equipped with features like dual sunroofs and second-row electrically adjustable seats with ventilation and leg support.
Other features include a 12-speaker Bose sound system, dual 12.3-inch curved displays, powered-sliding doors, and Level 2 ADAS.
Powertrain
The upcoming new MPV is expected to be powered by the same engine as the previous model. So, it will get a 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 191bhp and 441Nm of torque, mated to an automatic transmission.
