The Hyundai Alcazar facelift is here, well, almost. Ahead of its launch scheduled to take place on 9 September, the Korean automobile brand has revealed the design of the refreshed three-row SUV. Let us now take a closer look at the top changes outside.
New face
Unlike the previous iterations of the Creta and the Alcazar, which wore similar faces, the elder sibling gets a more distinct fascia this time around. Up front are new H-shaped LED DRLs sitting above the main headlamp clusters. The grille is all new, and positioned above it is the 3D Hyundai logo. The bumper receives a mild refresh too, and now has a wider skid plate finished in a silver shade.
New wheels and roof rails
While the silhouette of the 2024 Alcazar remains largely unchanged, Hyundai has made it a point that the side profile gets a nip-and-tuck update too. The model now rides on a set of new 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels (17-inch units for lower variants), while the roof rails benefit from a new design in a dual-tone look.
Tail lights
The taillights are all-new units as well, and now get a vertically stacked setup with a split design for the two slats. This unit takes heavy inspiration from the Palisade, an SUV sold by the carmaker in certain global markets.
LED light bars
As is the norm with most new cars these days, the new Alcazar gets LED light bars at the front and rear. The former is positioned above the grille, while at the rear, it sits between the taillights above the number plate recess on the tailgate.
