- The Gurkha SUV is now available in three-door and five-door versions
- Prices in India start at Rs. 16.75 lakh
Force Motors introduced the 2024 range of Gurkha SUVs last month, with prices starting at Rs. 16.75 lakh (ex-showroom). This launch also marked the debut of the five-door Gurkha in the Indian market, which will be a rival to the upcoming Thar five-door.
The deliveries of the new Force Gurkha three-door and five-door have now begun on a pan-India level. Both versions are powered by a 2.6-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine developing 132bhp and 320Nm of torque. A five-speed manual gearbox is the sole transmission on offer. Further, a 4WD system is available across the range.
Feature highlights of the 2024 Gurkha include circular headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, 'Gurkha' lettering on the grille, 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, nine-inch touchscreen system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, fully digital instrument console, and TPMS.
Bookings of the updated Gurkha range are currently underway for Rs. 25,000. Customers can choose from four colours, namely white, black, red, and green. The carmaker is also said to be working on a 2WD iteration of the Gurkha, which could be introduced in the coming months.
