- C3 updated with new features
- Will also be offered with an automatic
Citroen recently announced the launch of the updated C3 hatchback in India with prices starting at Rs. 6.16 lakh (ex-showroom). While its automatic variant will be made available soon, look at the new features the car gets from the recently launched Basalt.
Foldable Roof Grab Handles
This might look like a basic feature but it was missing in the C3 and now has been introduced across variants. Both the front and rear passengers get it. The car receives repositioned rear window switches but the base variant continues to get front power windows only.
Rejig in mid-spec variant features
The mid-spec Feel (O) variant now gets Isofix child seat anchorage with top tether and all three-point seat belts. This version also boasts a 'TESSERA' full-wheel cover and an anodised grey deco instrument panel. No dual-tone versions are being offered on Feel variants now.
Top-spec variant packed with all equipment
Only the top-spec Shine variants gets a dual-tone colour with optional colour schemes such as Polar White, Zesty Orange, Platinum Grey, and Cosmo Blu. Moreover, as there is no Feel Turbo version being offered now, features like engine start-stop, ESP, hill-hold, and TPMS are only offered in the top-spec Shine trim. Other features include automatic climate control, powered wing mirrors, side turn indicators on ORVMs, LED Vision projector headlamps, six airbags, and a larger seven-inch digital instrument panel.
New connectivity app
Citroen has also introduced a refreshed 'MyCitroën Connect app' for buyers. Top-spec C3 buyers will benefit from 40 new smart features.
