Citroen has recently launched the 2024 Aircross with prices starting at Rs. 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Along with the name change, the updated SUV gets new features and here are the top highlights of the car that continues to be offered in five- and seven-seater options.
Revised name
The car was earlier called 'C3 Aircross' and the carmaker has now chosen to call it just 'Aircross'.
Variants rejig
Earlier, the variants included You, Plus, Max, and a Dhoni Edition. These were additionally offered in Vibe packs and dual tone options. With the 2024 update, the car is now available in three variants — You, Plus and Max. These can be had in dual tone colours like before.
New features
The Aircross now comes equipped with LED projector headlamps, power-folding ORVMs, and automatic climate control with rear AC vents in the top-spec variants. It offers a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with over 40 connectivity features. Other safety features include six airbags, ESP, TPMS, and hill-hold assist.
Repositioned switches
Citroen has also repositioned the rear power window switches in the car. These are now located on the door panels.
Powertrain
The updated C3 Aircross is available with two engine options. In addition to the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 108bhp and 205Nm of torque, the SUV also gets an option of the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit. Transmission options include a five-speed manual, six-speed manual, and six-speed automatic.
