BYD recently introduced three new variants of the Atto 3. The entry-level variant gets a smaller battery, while the top-spec ones continue with the existing unit. Here's all you need to know about what's new in the Atto 3's line-up.
New variants
Introducing new variants of the BYD Atto 3 has expanded the product portfolio. The pure electric SUV can now be had in the Dynamic, Premium, and Superior variants. This will cater to a more diverse customer base and increase the available options for potential buyers.
Revised competitive pricing
The Atto 3 variants start with Dynamic, going up to Premium and Superior. The Dynamic variant is priced at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs. 24.99 lakh, bringing down the prices of the EV. Earlier, the extended range version was available at Rs. 33.99 lakh, while the special edition costed Rs. 34.49 lakh.
Battery and driving range
The entry-level Dynamic variant offers a commendable ARAI-tested and NEDC-claimed range of 468km and 410km, respectively. It is powered by a battery capacity of 49.92kWh. On the other hand, the Premium and Superior variants offer a higher ARAI- and NEDC-claimed range of 521km and 480km, respectively. These variants have a battery capacity of 60.48kWh.
New colour
Apart from the existing colour options, the 2024 BYD Atto 3 is now available in a new Cosmos Black exterior colour.
