The 2020 India-spec Renault Duster was recently spotted on our soil. Expected to be launched early next year, it will be a comprehensive update for the Duster since the current avatar was launched a few years ago. There seem to be quite a few changes to the exteriors and here are the highlights.
New headlamps
This updated Duster for the first time features projectors. The lighting layout is more or less the same but now, in addition to the projector lights, it also has chrome inserts as well as new housing for the fog lamps.
Updated grille
This updated Duster sports the latest Renault grille. This means a three-slatted chrome affair with the Renault logo sitting prominently in the middle. The French automaker has also added a chrome strip under the grille in a bid to boost the car’s premium appeal.
Design of alloy wheels
Renault has updated the design of the alloy wheels on this 2020 Duster and you can see that in addition to the current design, they have also added some new elements between individual sections of the wheels.
Rear-end
Unlike, the EU spec Duster that has got new square tail lamps, Renault has retained the rectangular units of the current vehicle and added some black applique to the overall look. In addition to that, Renault has modified the bumper with a new faux bash plate element and repositioning of the reflectors.
Interiors
The cabin has been updated with a bigger touchscreen display and what appears to be chocolate brown fabrics for the seats. One of the most noticeable changes is new steering, in line with the latest Renault design.
