- The Renault Captur facelift will get updated front and rear fascia.
- It is expected to be offered with a plug-in petrol hybrid powertrain.
The 2020 Renault Captur facelift for the European markets, due in the months to come, was leaked via various social platforms. Now, we don't expect Renault India to introduce the Captur facelift in the domestic market anytime soon, given that the crossover was launched two years back. Instead, the company is working on a facelift for the Renault Duster, which should be launched towards the end of 2019.
Coming back to the European-spec 2020 Renault Captur, the crossover gets a new fascia that includes revised LED headlights with DRLs, new grille and a redesigned bumper. The profile has been highlighted with a chrome beltline and a set of new dual-tone alloy wheels. While the rear profile isn't visible, the redesigned LED taillightsare fairly noticeable.
The Euro-spec Renault Captur facelift will be available with a range of petrol and diesel engine options. However, given the stricter emission norms in Europe, a plug-in petrol hybrid with a pure electric mode cannot be ruled out. That said, as far as the domestic market is concerned, we can expect the 2020 Renault Captur facelift to go on sale in India sometime next year.
