BMW unveiled the third generation X6 last month. The 2020 X6 was spotted in India during a public road test near Gurgaon, Haryana. It differs from its predecessor in that this model has received updates to the exterior and interior.
Based on the company’s CLAR platform, the upcoming BMW X6 measures 4,935mm in length, 2,004mm in width and 1,696mm in height while the wheelbase is rated at 2,975mm. Design wise, the model receives laser light with adaptive LED headlights and an illuminated kidney grille up-front. The side profile receives new alloy wheels while the rear features new LED taillights and chrome exhaust tips.
Inside, the 2020 BMW X6 will come equipped with two 12.3 inch displays (one each for the infotainment system and MID), four-zone climate control, 360-degree camera, cruise control, panoramic sunroof and wireless charging.
The new BMW X6 is available with a range of petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol motors include a 3.0-litre, six cylinder unit and a4.4-litre V8 unit. The 3.0-litre, six cylinder diesel engine is available in two states of tune. An eight-speed automatic transmission is offered as standard across the line-up. BMW will launch the third generation X6 in India in 2020.
