Ahead of its global unveiling on 21 February 2018, the upcoming Volvo V60 images have been leaked. The fresh images have emerged moments after the company released its official teaser for the V60. As seen in pictures, the vehicle gets a station wagon design and takes design cues from the XC90, XC60, XC40 and the V90 wagon. It is believed that like the V90, the V60 might also be based on Volvo’s Scalable Product Architecture.
Although technical details for the Volvo V60 is not immediately known, reports indicate that the 2019 model might be offered in four engine option at the time of launch. Based on company’s plans for electrification, it might also get a plug-in hybrid version. This includes a 2.0-liter T8 petrol engine which generates 400bhp of power and 640Nm of torque.
The vehicle might make it to India sometime later this year or early next year. Additional details about the vehicle will be known during its official unveiling at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
