The Renault Kwid facelift was recently launched with some major aesthetic changes along with a host of new and updated features. Now, let's take a look at the top six highlights in the cabin of the Kwid Climber option, which is the top-spec variant in the line-up.
1. Dual tone dashboard
The interior boasts of a dual-tone dashboard with chrome interior accents. This stylish dashboard also gets piano black accents that give it a premium feel.
2. New upholstery
Buyers can choose between sporty orange and white fabric upholstery with striped embossing. There's also an option of a premium crossway fabric upholstery with a red outline.
3. New digital instrument cluster
Behind the leather-wrapped steering wheel with contrast stitching is a new digital instrument cluster. This includes a tachometer like before which is, now crisper and also gets a new font.
4. Orange accents
In the Kwid Climber, one will also notice an updated finish on the gear knob and sporty orange door trim accents.Â
5. New large touch screen
The hatchback now gets a new eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, voice recognition and even video playback. This unit also gets a fast-charging USB port with a power output of 2.4A, plus a 12V outlet at the rear, like before.Â
6. Safety features
There are several active and passive safety features as standard across all variants. These include a driver-side airbag with an option of the passenger side airbag, ABS with EBD, driver and co-driver seat belt reminder and overspeed alert. The most important optional feature in the Climber includes a first-in-class reverse parking camera with guidelines.
