- New WagonR Stingray could be sold via Nexa
- The model would be powered by the BS-VI compliant 1.2-litre petrol motorÂ
The 2019 Maruti Suzuki WagonR Stingray has been spotted testing in India once again. New spy photos that surfaced on the web reveal the LED tail-lights and high mounted stop lamp of the upcoming model that could be retailed from the Nexa chain of outlets.
The 2019 Maruti WagonR Stingray was spied testing with a regular unit of the WagonR next to it in traffic. The image reveals that apart from the updated lights at the rear, the model seems to retain all the features and silhouette from the standard variant. Previous sightings of the upcoming model also revealed 15-inch black alloy wheels borrowed from the Ignis.
The previous generation of the Maruti Suzuki WagonR Stingray was based on the top-end trim of the hatchback and hence we expect the same to be carried over with respect to the 2019 model. This new version of the WagonR Stingray could be powered by a BS-VI compliant 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 82bhp and 113Nm of torque. Transmission options would include a five-speed manual unit and an AMT unit.
