Jeep has launched the fourth generation Wrangler in India, with prices starting at Rs 63.94 lakhs (ex-showroom, all India). The new Wrangler will be available in a single variant. Powering the 2019 Jeep Wrangler will be a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol motor produces 268bhp and 400Nm of torque. This engine will be paired exclusively to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Compared to the previous generation model, the new-generation Jeep Wrangler features circle-shaped LED headlamps separated by the signature seven-slat grille. The turn indicators and DRLs have been repositioned and now sit on the front wheel arches. The side profile features 18-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, the model features a door-mounted spare tyre.
Inside, the new Jeep Wrangler comes equipped with an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 7-inch TFT LED display, black leather interiors, push-button start, dual-zone climate control and remote key access. Safety features on the model include ABS with Brake Assist, rear parking sensors with camera and ESC with Electronic Roll Mitigation. Also on offer are full-frame removable doors and roof as well as a fold-down windshield. The new Jeep Wrangler will rival against the likes of the BMW X4, Jaguar F-Pace and the Porsche Macan.
