-New flagship SUV from the Bavarian automaker
-Previewed as the iX7 concept last year
-Range of petrol, diesel and hybrid options
-India-bound in 2019
BMW has released a teaser for the India-bound X7 ahead of its official debut later this month. It’s a new flagship from the German automaker and will be their rival for the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLS, Audi Q7, Range Rover Sport and the Volvo XC90.
The teaser image reveals the face of the car and while this may be a teaser image, we already know what the car will look like thanks to multiple spy images and also the fact that this is BMW - one of the pioneers of the ‘family look' way of designing cars.
The X7 was previewed in the form of the iX7 concept last year and well, this production ready model doesn’t stray too far from the concept car. In production guise, the X7 is expected to be offered in petrol, diesel and hybrid powertrain options.
It’s India-bound and will arrive here in 2019. It is likely that BMW will assemble the car at their Chennai facility to keep prices competitive.
