- To get fresh cosmetic and feature upgrades
- To be based on a new platform
- Expected to be powered by existing petrol and diesel engine options
For the first time, the next-generation Hyundai Grand i10 has been spotted on test in Korea. As stated by us earlier, the 2019 model which is due for launch in India will be based on a new platform. The company’s popular selling hatchback will continue to be powered by existing petrol and diesel engine options.
The current generation model has been in production since August 2013 and had received a facelift in February 2017. As seen in images, the vehicle appears to be production ready and is expected to get sportier lines and a new fascia with projector headlamps. The sides feature slightly longer and sharper ORVMs and redesigned alloy wheels. The rear section will get redesigned tail lamps and bumper.
As for the interior, it is speculated that the new model will be offered with a new dual-tone upholstery for freshness and a touchscreen infotainment system. The vehicle will be offered with standard safety features such as dual front airbags and ABS. The Grand i10 in India is slightly longer than the international spec version, therefore it is believed that the new model will also be slightly longer than the international spec-model.
More details about the 2019 Hyundai Grand i10 will be known in the days to come.
