Hyundai Motors India today revealed the 2019 Elantra, which is scheduled for launch on 3 October. The company has announced the commencement of bookings from today for the new Hyundai Elantra facelift.
The 2019 Hyundai Elantra features a sportier and futuristic design. The front is dominated by a large ‘hexagonal grille’ that is flanked by sharp-looking LED headlights with DRLs. The profile is highlighted by the coupe roofline, while the rear features new split-LED taillights and a redesigned bumper. Interiors of the 2019 Elantra will remain largely unchanged.
Under the hood, the 2019 Hyundai Elantra will reportedly be available with a BS-VI compliant 2.0-litre petrol motor at launch. It will further come with a six-speed manual transmission and an optional automatic. A diesel motor could join the line-up next year.
The new Elantra is expected to be priced in the bracket of Rs 15-20 lakhs (ex-showroom). It will compete against the likes of the Honda Civic, Skoda Octavia and the Toyota Corolla Altis.
