- The Honda HR-V is expected to be launched towards the end of 2019.
- It will be positioned above the Honda City.
The upcoming Honda HR-V was spotted testing yet again in India. According to the report, the mid-size SUV is expected to be launched in the country towards the end of 2019. It will be available with both, diesel as well as petrol engine options.
Although heavily camouflaged, the design of the SUV is visible and is similar to what we have already seen on the global-spec model. The car seems to be a mid-spec variant, judging by the design of the alloy wheels. Once launched, the Honda HR-V will be positioned above the Honda City.
The HR-V will compete against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks, Tata Harrier and the new Renault Duster. It is expected to be offered with 1.5-litre petrol and with a 1.6-litre diesel engine, both of which are available in the UK market.
