In a cost-sensitive market like ours, Ford has made a strong comeback with the 2019 Figo, which, interestingly, is cheaper than its predecessor. Apart from the fresh cosmetic upgrades, the new Figo gets dual airbags and ABS as standard along with rear parking sensors. The manual top-spec Titanium BLU trim is offered with rain sensing wipers, auto headlamps, automatic AC, leather-wrapped steering wheel, bigger 15-inch alloy wheels and six airbags.
In terms of pricing for the petrol Figo variants, the base Ambiente trim is now cheaper by over Rs 67,000 as it is now available for Rs 5,15,000 as against the older price of Rs 5,82,600. Moving a step ahead, the Titanium variant is priced at Rs 6,39,000 as compared to the older price of Rs 6,58,300, thereby making it cheaper by Rs 19,000 as compared to the older price. The automatic Titanium variant is now cheaper by Rs 37,000 as the automatic option can now be had for Rs 8,09,000 as against the older price of Rs 8,46,100.
Moving onto the diesel variants, the Ambiente trim is considerably cheaper by over Rs 73,000 as the vehicle is now available for Rs 5,95,000 as against the older price of Rs 6,68,700. The Titanium variant is now available for 7,19,000 as against an older price of Rs 7,44,400, thereby making it cheaper by a little over Rs 25,000.
The feature loaded manual top-of-the-line Figo –BLU, being a new product, is available for Rs 6,94,000 (petrol) and Rs 7,74,000 for the diesel version.
