- The biggest upgrade is an entry-level performance trim called Turbo 1LE.
- The new face and the redesigned rear come with an updated infotainment system.

- The updated Camaro leads the revamped Chevy line-up which includes Malibu, Cruze and Spark.
Chevrolet has updated the Camaro with an all-new styling and an all-new entry-level Turbo 1LE performance variant. Also joining the powertrain will be a 10L80 10-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission with launch control and line lock in the SS trim. The Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System will also be offered with navigation and rear parking camera.
Design-wise, it comes with new headlights which are now similar across the entire Chevy range. Sharper and enlarged air vents make for an aggressive fascia apart from better airflow (up by 2500 litre/second). The design updates add functional aid by reducing drag and providing better cooling to the internals.
At the rear, the tail lights are tweaked significantly with LED signature on all variants. There is an aggressive diffuser, quad exhausts setup and a new set of 20-inch wheels to add to the sporty appeal of the muscle car. The carmaker has also added new body paint – the highlight of which is the 'Riverside Blue' as it pays a tribute to the 1967 Penske-Donohue Camaro Trans-Am racecar. The visual updates to the interior of the Camaro are limited only. The new Infotainment 3 system integrated into the seven-inch screen also has an improved Bluetooth connectivity.
Under the hood is the same line-up of V8 motors, a new 10-speed automatic transmission while the older six-speed manual is also retained. Meanwhile, the new entry-level Turbo 1LE packs in a 2.0-litre turbocharged motor pushing out a modest 275bhp and 400 Nm mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. It gets a specially tuned FE3 suspension, Brembo brake package, a 50/50 weight distribution and sporty driving modes.
Pricing for the new and updated Camaro hasn’t been revealed yet but we expect it to take to the streets pretty soon. Given its power figures, the entry level Turbo 1LE will take this fight to the likes of Honda Civic Type R, VW Golf R and other Euro hot hatches and sedans
