The 2019 Hyundai i20 Active has been launched in India, with prices starting at Rs 7.74 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The model is available with two powertrain options and three trims including S, SX and SX Dual-Tone.
Engine options on the 2019 i20 Active include a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.4-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine. The former is capable of producing 82bhp and 115Nm of torque while the latter produces 89bhp and 220Nm of torque. The petrol motor and diesel mill are paired to a five-speed manual transmission and a six-speed manual transmission respectively.
Exterior highlights of the 2019 Hyundai i20 Active include projector headlamps with integrated LED DRLs and cornering lamps, LED tail lights, shark fin antenna, faux skid plates and auto folding ORVMs. The model receives safety features such as six airbags, rear parking sensors with camera, ABS with EBD and Impact sensing door unlock and speed sensing auto door lock.
Inside, the updated i20 Active comes equipped with a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, push button start, wireless charger, automatic climate control, rear AC vents and sliding front arm-rest.
