Toyota recently launched the enhanced version of the Fortuner with focus on convenience, safety and security features. The following are the five new features that will be seen on the latest iteration of the SUV.
1. Passenger side power seat
The carmaker wanted to add the convenience of the driver to the front passenger. As a result, the Fortuner gets an electronically operated passenger side seat after taking feedback from Fortuner owners.
2. Anti-theft alarm with glass break and ultrasonic sensor
Like the newly introduced Innova Crysta, the Fortuner also gets an anti-theft alarm as a new security feature. This is paired to an ultrasonic sensor that triggers the alarm if in case any glass of the vehicle is broken.
3. Rear Fog lamp
The Fortuner will feature new rear fog lamps with a better intensity of light.
4. Emergency brake signal
Another small but important feature introduced in the SUV is an emergency brake signal.
5. Electrochromatic Inside Rear View Mirror (IRVM)
There aren't any changes inside the Fortuner apart from a new electrochromatic mirror.
