Toyota Kirloskar Motors recently launched a new special edition of their Etios Liva hatchback. Called the Etios Liva Limited Edition, the car sports new exterior and interior features over the regular variants. Worth mentioning is the fact that all of this is direct factory built and not as after-market fitments from dealers. Yes, it’s a first in its segment and these pictures give all the details.
The new exterior features include a new dual tone design with red streaks on a 'super white' exterior body colour. This is exclusive to this variant.
To set itself apart from the standard hatchback, this special edition boasts of a glossy black treatment to the grille, roof, ORVMs and a spoiler at the back.Â
Two tone 10-spoke alloy wheels further add to the appeal. A close look hints that this theme seems to have taken cues from the Toyota Yaris GRMN hatchback offered in some international markets.
Inside the cabin is the same colour scheme with sporty black interiors and red accents. These can be seen on the AC vents and even the gear knob.
This particular limited edition is based on the Toyota Etios Liva V and VX petrol variants and similarly the VD and VXD diesel variants.
Engine options remain the same with an 80bhp 1.2-litre petrol mill or a 68bhp 1.4-litre diesel engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
Prices of the petrol limited edition start at Rs 6.5 lakhs, while that of the diesel trim start at Rs 7.65 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
