Suzuki has introduced special edition models of the Ignis and the Vitara for the UK market. Called as the Ignis Adventure and Vitara Kuro, the cars have made a return to the UK market after its successful limited production run in 2017.
The Ignis Adventure is based on the SZ-T and additionally offers a range of personalisation options. The SZ-T gets a rear view camera, 16-inch alloy wheels, roof rails and individually sliding rear seats as standard. Additionally, the Adventure further offers rear spoiler, side mouldings, front and rear skid plates, coloured front grille centre bar, side decal set and colour keyed front fog lamp bezels. The personalised option is offered at £1,900 (approx. 1.64 lakhs) and with the Adventure priced at £13,999 (approx. Rs 12.03 lakhs) it represents a premium of just £1,000 (approx. Rs 85,949) over the SZ-T. A zero per cent APR PCP (Personal Contract Purchase) agreement is also available at £159 (approx. Rs 13,666) per month over 43 months. This requires a deposit of £2,216 (approx. Rs 1.90 lakhs) and an optional final payment of £5,105(approx. Rs 4.39 lakhs) to keep the car.
The Adventure model will be available in limited numbers and four colour options- fervent red (solid paint) and boost blue pearl, pure white pearl and super black pearl as optional metallic colours at £465 (approx. Rs 13,666). The Suzuki Vitara Kuro has been reintroduced due to customer demand and the company is reportedly producing additional 1,000 units. The vehicle is powered by a 1.6-litre SZ-T engine mated to a manual transmission. The feature list in the Vitara Kuro includes auto air conditioning, satellite navigation, smartphone link audio and rear privacy glass as standard equipment. The vehicle gets ‘Misti’ satin black alloy wheels, black front bumper and side body moulding set, black door mirrors, black rear upper spoiler, black front grille and side trims and Kanji ‘Kuro’ badge. As for the interior, the colour design theme continues with a piano black dashboard, ventilation trim ring set and centre console trim. A carbon effect centre analogue clock is also included as standard.
The Kuro will be offered in superior white as a solid colour and cosmic black, galactic grey and silky silver as optional metallic colours available at £500 (approx. Rs 43,000). The Vitara Kuro is also available with zero per cent PCP at a monthly rate of £199 (approx. Rs 17,000) payable over 43 months if an initial deposit of £3,390 (approx. Rs 2.91 lakhs) is made with a £7,001 (Rs 6.02 lakhs) final optional payment is required if the customer wishes to keep the car at the end of the term.
