Nissan India recently launched a refreshed version of the Micra hatchback. One look at the latest iteration will tell you that design-wise nothing has changed. However, there are some small changes in terms of features in the 2018 Micra. The prices start at Rs 5.03 lakhs and this picture gallery will take you through the important changes on the hatchback.
The most important change on the safety front is the inclusion of dual airbags on every trim. A speed-sensing lock and driver seat-belt reminder is also offered as standard, but ABS is still absent.
The top-end trims now get keyless entry and push-stop-start via intelligent key. Furthermore, there's ‘Lead Me to Car’ too that will guide Nissan customers to their cars.
Inside the cabin, a 6.2-inch touchscreen AVN system has been added. This one comes with phone mirroring which has become the most convenient feature in cars for users today.
Then, there are additional features like a reverse parking camera, reverse parking sensors and turn indicators on ORVMs along with a speed warning device.
The carmaker's new integrated connected car technology called Nissan Connect can also be had with the 2018 Micra. Some of the highlights of this app are Share My Car Location, Locate My Car etc.
Powertrain options remain unchanged with a 1.2-litre petrol engine mated the X-Tronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), or a 1.5-litre diesel mill mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
